Season 2 of Ranked Battle went live from November 6, 2025 until November 25, 2025. This Ranked Battle event featured the Delphoxite so you can get Mega Delphox!
It was also possible to get Dream Balls as a reward if you reach a high rank at the end of the season.

The Season 2 ruleset allows for all Pokemon in the Lumiose Pokedex from Chikorita up until Yveltal! All regional forms of Pokemon within those Dex numbers are also allowed to participate!
As of November 6, Diancie and its Mega Evolution are now also eligible to be added to your team!
Legends Z-A Pokedex: List of All Pokemon
Details of Legal Teams & Pokemon
- A player’s team cannot contain two Pokémon with the same Lumiose Pokedex number.
- All Pokemon will have their stats scaled to Level 50.
- Two Pokemon cannot hold the same item.
- Regional Forms of all Pokemon within Dex #001 until #229 are legal.
- As of Release, Diancie is also legal.

You can obtain the Delphoxite once you reach Rank S in Season 2. If you are not able to obtain the Greninjite during Season 1, you can also get this Mega Stone when you reach Rank Y in this season.
You can also receive Mega Shards as you climb through this season's ladder.

Players who have reached certain milestones during Season 2 will receive rewards after each season ends and the results are announced and are the based on the results of your battles. Players need to finish at least one match with a win or loss during the season to be eligible for rewards.
The Dream Ball is the Poke Ball featured as one of the top rewards during this season.
Season 2 Ruleset
- You will obtain Points depending on your Rank and Actions Taken. Even if you lose, you will receive points.
- You cannot go down a rank once your tier has been raised. No matter how many times you lose, your Tier will stay the same.
- An Internet connection is required in playing Ranked Battles. You will need an Nintendo Switch Online Subscription to participate in all online activities in Pokemon including Ranked Battles.
