A good spot to hunt Shiny Pidgey is at Wild Zone 1 at Vert District, south of Lumiose City.

Other Shiny Pokemon that may spawn are Fletchling, Scatterbug, Weedle, Mareep, Bunnelby, Mawile, Gastly, Bellsprout, and Flabebe.

How to Shiny Hunt

①
Head Over to West Entrance of Wild Zone 1
Fast travel to Wild Zone 1 and you will be teleported to the east entrance.
② Go inside the Wild Zone and head over the west entrance. There will be a bunch of Mareep and an obstruction near the entrance, where you need to use Fire-type moves to remove it.
③ After removing the obstruction, climb the ladder around the corner to reach the rooftop and find the Pidgey.
④ If a Shiny Pokemon is spotted, save your game first before attempting to catch it.

If there is no Shiny Pokemon, you can repeatedly rest at the bench at the middle of Wild Zone 1.

Another spot to hunt Shiny Pidgey is at Pokemon Research Lab at Vert District, south of Lumiose City. Other Shiny Pokemon that may spawn are Pichu and Mareep.

How to Shiny Hunt

①
How to Go to Wild Zone 1 from Pokemon Research Lab
Fast travel to Pokemon Research Lab and head towards the northeast to get to the west entrance of Wild Zone 1.
② Go inside the Wild Zone and there will be an obstruction near the entrance, where you need to use Fire-type moves to remove it.
③ After removing the obstruction, climb the ladder around the corner to reach the rooftop and find the Pidgey.
④ If a Shiny Pokemon is spotted, save your game first before attempting to catch it.

If there is no Shiny Pokemon, you can repeatedly fast travel back at the Pokemon Research Lab.
