Dreams of Meltan unlocks after completing Hyperspace Mission 12, which marks the end of all the DLC Hyperspace Missions.

Beside a building in Rogue Sector 1, facing Autumnal Avenue

Find Gally in front of the building at Autumnal Avenue at Rouge Sector 1. Approaching her will automatically activate a cutscene that starts the side mission.

  1. Catch the Meltan that Appeared at the Bank
  2. Enter the Hyperspace Distortion
  3. Talk to the Girl in Hyperspace
  4. Leave the Hyperspace

Catch the Meltan that Appeared at the Bank

Catch the Meltan

Interact with the Meltan to start the battle. It is recommended to use an Ultra Ball for this encounter but you can use any Poke Ball to catch it.

If you accidentally knock out Meltan, the game will restart the encounter allowing you to try again.

Enter the Hyperspace Distortion

Enter the Hyperspace Distortion

After catching Meltan, a hyperspace distortion will appear in its place. Create a Donut that you do not need, such as a low level one, as this distortion does not contain any battles or survey tasks other than the quest objective.

Talk to the Girl in Hyperspace

Girl in Hyperspace

Speak with the girl surrounded by multiple Meltan at the hyperspace. After the cutscene ends, you will receive a Level 80 Melmetal in your box.

Leave the Hyperspace

Leave the Hyperspace

Head back to the hyperspace distortion to return to Lumiose City to complete the side mission.
