Mega Clefable Best Nature and Moveset for Story

Bold or Calm

Nature Stat Changes
Bold Defense, Attack
Calm SpDef, Attack

Due to Clefable having very high Defensive stats, its best natures are either Bold or Calm to boost its Defense or Special Defense further.

Clefable also has a better Special Attack stat compared to its Attack, so choosing one of the above natures allows Clefable to still deal some damage with its Special Moves.

Alternative Natures

Nature Stat Changes
Relaxed Defense, Speed
Sassy SpDef, Speed

You can also give Clefable either Relaxed or Sassy nature, allowing you to increase your Defense or Special Defense at the cost of reduced Speed.

Keep in mind that giving Clefable any of the above two natures will increase the cooldown of moves, putting you at a disadvantage against faster Pokemon.

Use Mints to Change Natures

Mint Usage

If your Clefable has a different Nature than the ones we recommend above, you can use a Mint to change its Nature.
Mints Locations and How to Change Nature

Best Clefable Moveset for the Story

Move Type Cooldown
Moonblast Pokemon Fairy Type Icon 8
Thunderbolt Pokemon Electric Type Icon 8
Calm Mind Pokemon Psychic Type Icon 18
Mystical Fire Pokemon Fire Type Icon 8

We recommend the moves Calm Mind, Moonblast, Thunderbolt, and Mystical Fire when using Clefable during the main story.
