List of Contents

You will first need to complete the main storyline of Pokemon Legends: Z-A in order to start the Mega Dimension DLC. This means that you will need to reach Main Mission 38 and finish it to unlock the DLC.
Complete Walkthrough and Main Missions

Once you've updated the game after downloading the DLC, you will receive a message from your Rotom phone that tells you to head towards the roof of Hotel Z for a new side mission.

If you've followed the prompt and reached the roof of Hotel Z, you will meet a little girl named Ansha, accompanied by Hoopa. Talking to her will begin Side Mission 120 and the Mega Dimension DLC.

Make sure that the game is updated to start the Mega Dimension DLC. The message from your Rotom Phone will only be prompted once you've booted the game with the Mega Dimension DLC update.
The Mega Dimension DLC does not come for free, meaning that the DLC must be purchased from the Nintendo eShop for $29.99.

The central plot of the DLC will focus on the spatial distortions that have suddenly appeared throughout the expanse of Lumiose City.
These distortions somehow connect to an otherworldly dimension, causing Team MZ to be the lead investigators of the case.

New Mega Pokemon such as Mega Zeraora, Mega Lucario Z, and many more will be available in the Mega Dimension DLC.
All New Mega Evolutions in the DLC

You will also be exploring a new location that delves deep into the Hyperspace lore established in the DLC. This location will play a significant role in how events will unfold for our characters.

Additionally, you will now be able to battle Pokemon that have exceeded levels beyond level 100. This can provide a hefty challenge for trainers who have trained their Pokemon to their maximum potential.
