Rare Candy |
A candy that is packed with energy. If consumed, it raises a Pokemon's level by one. |
Exp. Candy XS |
A candy that is packed with energy. If consumed, it grants a Pokemon a very small number of Exp. Points |
Exp. Candy S |
A candy that is packed with energy. If consumed, it grants a Pokemon a small number of Exp. Points |
Exp. Candy M |
A candy that is packed with energy. If consumed, it grants a Pokemon a moderate number of Exp. Points |
Exp. Candy L |
A candy that is packed with energy. If consumed, it grants a Pokemon a large number of Exp. Points |
Exp. Candy XL |
A candy that is packed with energy. If consumed, it grants a Pokemon a very large number of Exp. Points |
Using Exp. Candies on a Pokemon will grant them experience points. These will instantly level up your Pokemon!

A nutritious drink for Pokemon. This drink increases base points for a Pokemon's Sp. Attack stat. |
Zinc |
A nutritious drink for Pokemon. This drink increases base points for a Pokemon's Sp. Def stat. |
Carbos |
A nutritious drink for Pokemon. This drink increases base points for a Pokemon's Speed stat. |
Vitamins can improve a Pokemon's stat. Use these to optimize a Pokemon's stat build.

Health Feather |
An item to be used on a Pokemon. This feather slightly increases base points for a Pokemon's HP stat. |
Muscle Feather |
An item to be used on a Pokemon. This feather slightly increases base points for a Pokemon's Attack stat. |
Resist Feather |
An item to be used on a Pokemon. This feather slightly increases base points for a Pokemon's Defense stat. |
Swift Feather |
An item to be used on a Pokemon. This feather slightly increases base points for a Pokemon's Speed stat. |
Feathers are used like Vitamins, but they are weaker in comparison. These can still be used to increase a Pokemon's stat.

Power Band |

Power Belt |
An item to be held by a Pokemon. The belt reduces a Pokemon's Speed in battle but allows its Defense stat to grow more quickly. |
Power Bracer |
An item to be held by a Pokemon. This bracer reduces a Pokemon's Speed in battle but allows its Attack stat to grow more quickly. |
Power Lens |
An item to be held by a Pokemon. The lens reduces a Pokemon's Speed in battle but allows its Sp. Atk stat to grow more quickly. |
Power Weight |
An item to be held by a Pokemon. The weight reduces a Pokemon's Speed in battle but allows its HP stat to grow more quickly. |
There are some Held Items a Pokemon can use to grow a specific stat. However, these will lower their Speed in battle.

Bottle Cap |
A lovely silver bottle cap. Certain people are delighted to be given one of these. |
Gold Bottle Cap |
A lovely gold bottle cap, which is even rare than a regular silver one. Certain people are delighted to be given one of these. |
Bottle Caps are used to Hyper Train your Pokemon and increase IVs.

Seed of Mastery |
A rare variety of seed. A certain person can help you upgrade your Pokemon's moves into Plus Moves if given one of these. |
Lucky Egg |
An item to be held by a Pokemon. It's an egg filled with happiness that earns the holder extra Exp. Points. |

These items can permanently raise your Pokemon's stats. Using them are a faster way of training your Pokemon. However, it is a costly method since you need keep buying or finding items.
You can find most of these items in the Other Items category inside your satchel. The Power series of held items are found in the Held Item category.

Some Side Missions will give you training items after you complete them. Do them often to stregthen your team!

Later in the game, you can spend Poke Dollars at the Pokemon Center to buy Vitamins. Use extra Poke Dollars to optimize your Pokemon's damage, defense, or speed!

Across Lumiose City, there are flower stalls that sells mints for ₽20,000. A flower stall will offer all the mints that buff a specific stat.
There are four flower stalls in an outdoor market to the left of Wild Zone 3, in the Rouge District. This is a convenient location to travel to if you need mints.

You can exchange Mega Shards for Exp. Candies. Use extra Mega Shards to level up the other members of your party!

Training items like Feathers and Exp. Candies can be found by walking on sparkling spots throughout the city. Try walking to your destination, instead of fast traveling, to get more items!
