You'll face a full team of Fighting Type Pokemon during Josee's battle, followed by two Alpha Pangoro who have dual Fighting and Dark typing.

It's recommended that you prepare a team with strong Fairy Type Pokemon so that you can easily defeat Josee's Pokemon and the two Pangoro. Gardevoir, Mawile, and Clefable are all great Fairy-types that easily take on the Fighting-type Pokemon you'll have to fight in this mission with STAB Moonblast and Play Rough.

Speak with Josee and she'll request a Pokemon Battle with her Fighting Type Pokemon. She'll start with a Lv. 63 Machamp that can use Bulldoze and Poison Jab, followed by a Lv. 63 Scrafty that can use Close Combat, a Lv. 63 Medicham that can use Fire Punch, and finally a Lv. 63 Hawlucha that can use Brave Bird.

In addition to your Fairy-type Pokemon, Flying Type Pokemon can also easily handle her team. Both Charizard and Noivern are great picks due to their high speed and powerful Flying-type Moves such as Air Slash and Hurricane.

Defeat the Pangoro Duo

Defeat the Pangoro Duo
Two Alpha Pangoro will attack you and Josee after you finish your battle, and she'll ask you for help driving them off. Both are Lv. 65 and can use moves such as Work Up, Bullet Punch, and Close Combat. Josee will help during the battle with her Lv. 63 Machamp.

Both Pangoro have quadruple weakness to Fairy-type Moves so we recommend using your Fairy types using this fight. Although you need to be wary of their Bullet Punch, the two Pangoro tend to focus their attacks on Josee's Machamp, so you can safely use Moonblast to defeat the two Pangoro while they're distracted.

Defeat the two Pangoro and you'll complete the mission after a short cutscene with Ivor.
