List of Contents

Mints can be purchased from stalls found in Lumiose City. Each stall only carries a limited selection of Mints, with each stall carrying all the mints that raise a specific stat.
Mints cost ₽20,000, so it is best to farm money first before purchasing Mints for your Pokemon.

Mints can also be randomly obtained by picking up Sparkling Items.
Getting Mints from sparkling items can be quite rare and unpredictable, making it unreliable for getting specific Mints.

Similar to previous games, you can use mints to change a Pokemon's nature. When changing a Pokemon's Nature, its stats also change, providing an increase and decrease to different stats, depending on the Nature.
Mints can also be used on Pokemon multiple times, allowing you to change your Pokemon's nature whenever you see fit.

Mints can change how a Pokemon's nature affects its base stats.
A Pokemon's nature will increase a stat while lowering another one. It is randomly decided every time you catch a Pokemon. With a mint, you can change how stats are affected by their nature, specifically, which base stats will receive an increase or a decrease.
Though they are rare and cost ₽20,000 in flower shops, it's incredibly useful for optimizing your Pokemon for battle.

Even after a Pokemon uses a mint, they will still have the nature they had when you caught or received them.
