You can get Magearna in the Restarting Magearna Side Mission in the Mega Dimension DLC. You can get this mission from Jett at the Quasartico Inc. building once you have completed The Greatest Gift Main Mission in the DLC as well as the A Mimikyu for My Cutie, which is Side Mission 190.
Restarting Magearna Walkthrough (Side Mission 195)

To get Magearna, you need to hand over 999 Mega Shards to Jett, which is also the maximum amount of shards you can store in your Satchel.
If you do not have this many Mega Shards, you can hop into Hyperspace Wild Zones and destroy shards as you explore the area. It is also recommended to max out your Pink Canari Plush to get as many shards as you can.

Once you give Jett the Mega Shards needed, Magearna will spring back to life. She will then give you Magearna as well as the Magearnite Mega Stone which will allow it to Mega Evolve into Mega Magearna!
