The best spot to hunt Shiny Froakie is at Wild Zone 16 in Bleu District, unlocked after completing Main Mission 24.

During the Shiny Hunt, players also have a chance to spawn Shiny variants of Flaaffy, Froakie, Medicham, Barbaracle, Starmie, Falinks, Florges, and Venipede.

Wild Zone 5 and 16 Map View
Fast travel to Wild Zone 5. Players will spawn at the southern entrance near Wild Zone 16.

Alpha Ampharos in Wild Zone 16 from Wild Zone 5
Look behind you to check if Alpha Ampharos spawned as a Shiny. If not, fast travel to Wild Zone 5 repeatedly until Alpha Shiny Ampharos appears.

Note that Shiny Pokemon does not disappear once it spawns. Players can focus on teleporting to Wild Zone 5 without missing the Shiny and only check after every few warps.

Can Shiny Pokemon Flee

Once you see a Shiny Ampharos, they will not despawn if you don't interact with them. However, some Pokemon may get nervous and flee, which does despawn them, so you should save your game before you attempt to catch the Shiny.
