How to Unlock Alola, Raichu!
Unlock Main Mission 38
To unlock Alola, Raichu!, you will have to play through the story until you reach Main Mission 38. This will be made available after the credits roll upon completing the main story.

You can accept this mission from Griddella, who is in front of the Quasartico Inc. building's entrance.
Alola, Raichu! Walkthrough
Defeat Griddella With One Raichu
After accepting the mission, you can speak to Griddella again to initiate a battle. You will need to have only one Raichu in your party for the mission to proceed. She will not battle you if you bring other Pokemon or more than one Raichu.
Griddella will use a Level 64 Alolan Raichu. It is ideal that you level up your Raichu to match or surpass her level.
It is also recommended that you use the Dig TM on your Raichu in order to have a super effective move. The Dig TM can be found northeast of Rouge Sector 8.
Obtain a Raichu
If you do not have a Raichu yet, there are several ways to obtain one. You may buy a Thunder Stone from Stone Emporium to evolve a Pikachu. You may catch a Pikachu in Wild Zone 3 or Wild Zone 6.
Alternatively, you can catch the Alpha Raichu found in Wild Zone 20.
Trade a Raichu With Griddella
After winning the battle, you can trade a Raichu with Griddella. You may choose any other Raichu you have or obtain another one if you do not want to trade away the Raichu you used in battle.
You will receive an Alolan Raichu from the trade.

Griddella will reward you with 10 Tamato Berries, 10 Pomeg Berries, as well as 500 Pokemon Dollars.
Tamato and Pomeg Berries can lower the HP and Speed EVs of your Pokemon respectively. However, they also increase your Pokemon's friendship.
Alolan Raichu
Another reward you can get from this mission is Alolan Raichu. If you want an Alolan Pokemon, you may want to clear this Side Mission as this is currently the only way to obtain this Pokemon without using Pokemon HOME.
