How to Get:
・Evolve from Ralts evolution line, which is found at Vert Sector 4. An Alpha Ralts can also be found at the same location during the Night.
Summary:
Gardevoir's Fairy-type, offensively, is super effective against Dragon types and, defensively, it is immune to any Dragon-type attacks.

With Gardevoir's Fairy-type, it completely makes Rogue Mega Dragonite's Dragon-type attacks completely useless. Additionally, Gardevoir's Fairy-type attacks are super effective against Rogue Mega Dragonite, giving the foremost advantage in this type matchup.

Moves Guide

Aerodactyl

Recommended Moves:
Rock Slide
Stone Edge
Dragon Claw
Ice Fang
How to Get:
・Revive Old Amber at Pokemon Research Lab. Old Amber can be bought at Stone Emporium.
Summary:
Aerodactyl's dual-type combination of Rock and Flying already gives it an advantage against Rogue Mega Dragonite's Fire and Flying-type attacks. To add to that, Aerodactyl can also use different types of moves, such as Rock, Dragon, and Ice-type moves.

Aerodactyl is a great counter against Rogue Mega Dragonite, mainly because it can tank its Flamethrower and Air Slash due to type matchups and can use multiple types of moves that are all super effective against the Rogue Mega.

Aerodactyl Location, Evolution, and Stats

Recommended Move Rotation

Stone Edge → Dragon Claw → Rock Slide → Ice Fang → Stone Edge

Use Stone Edge first, since it has the longest cooldown amongst all the moves. Then, follow it up with Dragon Claw, Rock Slide, and Ice Fang, in that order.

Aerodactyl and Mega Aerodactyl have a high base Speed and Attack, which means they can use powerful Physical attacks against the mid-level base Defense of Rogue Mega Dragonite.

Recommended Moves:
Iron Defense
Iron Tail
Ice Punch
Dragon Claw
How to Get:
・Evolve from Aron, which is found at Wild Zone 14.
・An Aggron and Alpha Aggron can be caught at Wild Zone 20.
Summary:
Aggron's high base Defense and type matchup advantage make it a formidable counter Pokemon against Rogue Mega Dragonite.

Aggron's main counter against Rogue Mega Dragonite is its ability to tank all of its attacks, with little to no damage. Furthermore, similar to Aerodactyl, it can use a wide variety of different types of attacks.

Aggron Location, Evolution, and Stats

Get Aggronite at Quasartico Inc.

The Aggronite can be bought at Quasartico Inc. for 360 Mega Shards. This can be used to Mega Evolve your very own Aggron.

Recommended Move Rotation

Iron Tail → Iron Defense → Dragon Claw → Ice Punch → Iron Tail

Follow it up with either Dragon Claw and Ice Punch; these two are interchangeable since they have similar cooldowns.

How to Beat Rogue Mega Dragonite

Rogue Mega Dragonite Battle Tips

Roll Over for Air Slash and Flamethrower

Rogue Mega Dragonite Attacks

Air Slash

Flamethrower

Rogue Mega Dragonite's common attacks are Air Slash and Flamethrower. These attacks can be easily dodged by rolling over to the side, since both of the attacks follow a straight line when launched towards the target.

Step Back from Outrage

Outrage is Rogue Mega Dragonite's short-distance move. Once you get too close to it, it will use this move more frequently. To dodge it, you need to step back from it to avoid it.

Keep Running From Hurricane and Lightning

Its charge mode is when it summons a huge hurricane that follows you around at a slow pace, along with random lightning strikes to the ground.

The easiest way to dodge all of the attacks going around the battlefield is to retreat your Pokemon and keep running away from the hurricane while looking for bright spots on the ground where the lightning will strike.

Interrupt When Its Glowing Yellow

You need to interrupt Rogue Mega Dragonite with super effective attacks when it's glowing yellow or gold and charging up power. Successfully stopping Dragonite will leave it stunned for a moment.

If not properly interrupted, it will launch a powerful beam to the ground and ignites a Nova Blast that will leave your character at very low health.
