Trian can be found near the northwestern entrance of Passage de la Felicite, with a Porygon beside him. Speak with Trian to accept his request and start the side mission.

If you do not have a Porygon in your boxes before starting this mission, you can capture one from a 3-Star Hyperspace Wild Zone that houses Rock-type and Normal-type Pokemon. As these zones spawn randomly, you can reroll them by passing time on a bench until the correct Hyperspace Wild Zone containing a Porygon appears.
The Porygon you trade to Trian will be given away permanently, so make sure to offer one you’re willing to let go. Otherwise, you’ll need to catch another Porygon for this side mission.
How to Reroll Hyperspace Wild Zones

Speak with Trian once you've secured a Porygon to initiate the trade. After your exchange, the Porygon he sends will evolve into a Porygon2 which concludes the side mission after a short introduction of the newly-evolved Pokemon.
Note that Porygon2 is one of many Pokemon that evolves through trading. It can also evolve into a Porygon Z, which requires trading a Porygon2 while it's holding a Dubious Disc, an item provided outside of this side mission.

After completing the side mission, you can pass time on a bench to reroll all Hyperspace Distortions. An Unknown Hyperspace Zone will then appear in the waterway beneath Bleu Sector 5, which you can safely enter using a low-level Donut made from weak Berries, as there will be no combat inside the pocket dimension.
Speak with Trian inside to obtain a Dubious Disc, which can be used to evolve Porygon2 into Porygon Z by trading with another player via Link Play. You can check our trading board to create a listing or find players willing to mirror trade Porygon Z!
Porygon Z Location, Evolution, and Stats

You'll obtain a Porygon2 named Alias after it evolves during your trade with Trian. This side mission is the only way to obtain a Porygon2 outside of trading with other players or using Pokemon HOME.

Completing Porygon’s Polygon Count will also cause an Unknown Hyperspace Zone to appear on the map, where you can obtain a Dubious Disc from Trian. Additionally, higher-ranked hyperspace distortions can reward other evolution items as random drops from breaking floating Poke Balls.

Completing this side mission will reward you with 2,560 Pokemon Dollars and the Tri Attack TM which you can teach to Pokemon capable of learning the move!
