To catch Meloetta, you must first complete the DLC's final mission, The Greatest Gift, where you need to defeat Rayquaza.
Mega Dimension DLC Story Walkthrough

After completing the mission, you will be able to run special scans from Philippe at the Rust Syndicate. You need to earn 25,000 Hyperspace Survey Points to run a scan, which you can get from completing tasks while inside Hyperspace Wild Zones.
Do note that each scan is not guaranteed to result in a portal that leads to a Legendary or Mythical Pokemon, so you may need to run these scans a couple of times.
A portal with a special encounter will have a yellow shining question mark icon.

If you are able to scan a portal that contains Legendary Pokemon, enter it and find Meloetta. It can be located in the middle of a long building inside the hyperspace.

|
Meloetta (Pirouette Forme)
|
| Nature | Stat Changes |
|---|---|
| Adamant | ↑ Attack, ↓ SpAtk |
| Modest | ↑ SpAtk, ↓ Attack |
Since Meloetta (Aria Forme) can work as either a Physical or Special Attacker, its Best Nature is either Adamant or Modest, depending on how you plan to build its EVs and Moves.
Give Meloetta (Aria Forme) Adamant if you want to use it as a Physical Attacker, and Modest if you want to build it as a Special Attacker instead.
| Nature | Stat Changes |
|---|---|
| Brave | ↑ Attack, ↓ Speed |
| Quiet | ↑ SpAtk, ↓ Speed |
You can also give Meloetta (Aria Forme) either Brave or Quiet nature, allowing you to use both of its Physical and Special moves without much downside.
Keep in mind that giving Meloetta (Aria Forme) any of the above two natures will increase the cooldown of moves, potentially making it less ideal for Competitive Play and harder post-game content.

If your Meloetta (Aria Forme) has a different Nature than the ones we recommend above, you can use a Mint to change its Nature.
