Arguably, the hardest request to complete is the Win 1000 Battles request. Completing the Main Story and participating in the ZA Royale for the required Ticket Points only will net you around 200 Battles by the end, leaving you with an additional 800 more wins to complete this request.
Once you complete the Main Story, you can easily reach 1000 wins by participating in the Infinite Z-A Royale. Depending on how strong your Pokemon are, you can get around 20 Wins per night, making it an efficient way to reach your goal, while also gaining various rewards along the way.

Alternatively, you can farm battles by challenging Restaurant Leh Nah, which allows you to battle 10 trainers in a row each time.

To complete all of Mable's Research Requests, you must also aim towards earning Crowns for each Wild Zone.
While earning crowns are a separate request altogether, working towards this also progresses other requests, such as those that require you to catch a number of Pokemon of certain types, and Investigate Anomalous Alphas.

One of Mable's Requests is to complete your Pokedex. The fastest way to complete your Pokedex is by catching Pokemon, and adding them to your party to make them level up.
Optimize your exp farming by bringing your Strongest Pokemon along with 5 Pokemon that Evolve via level up. This allows you to work towards adding multiple Pokedex entries, leaving you to only worry about Pokemon with special conditions to evolve.
Evolution Chart: How to Evolve Every Pokemon

Certain Pokemon only evolve by using Items on them. While this makes completing your Pokedex trickier, it is also one of Mable's Requests that you need to complete.
While some Evolution Items can be obtained from Side Missions and from picking up Items, a large bulk of the Evolution Stones can be purchased from the Stone Emporium.

Legends: Z-A features the return of three Fossil Pokemon: Tyrunt, Amaura, and Aerodactyl.
Reviving all three is required to complete your Pokedex, but is also required to complete the Restoring Fossils request from Mable.

To complete all of Mable's Requests, you must also trade with other Players, specifically to evolve certain Pokemon.
Alternatively, you can also help or request help from other Players to trade certain Pokemon with you, to help with completing your Pokedex!

To complete your Mega Evolution Pokedex, you must purchase and obtain all the Mega Stones available in Lumiose City.
Aside from the Mega Stones you obtain from fighting Rogue Megas, you can purchase Mega Stones either from the Stone Emporium or from Quasartico.

In order to purchase all of the Mega Shards from Quasartico, you must have a large sum of Mega Shards. Farm Mega Shards during the course of the story, especially before Rogue Mega battles, in order to quickly earn Mega Shards!
Additionally, farming Mega Shards across Lumiose City allows you to progress the Smashing Mega Crystals request, putting you one step closer to completing all of Mable's requests.

Requests are the different tasks Mable gives you to help complete her research. These get progressively harder as you complete them, and certain harder tasks reward you with more points when compared to easier ones.

Mable's Research will have you capturing Pokemon and winning battles to complete her requests. This is essentially this game's equivalent of the mainline series' Pokedex Completion tracker, where you gain rewards the more progress you make towards fully completing the professor's research.
