While out adventuring, you can occasionally encounter Mega Crystals. Breaking these with your Pokemon's move will reward you with Mega Shards. Exchange them in Quasartico Inc. for Mega Stones and other useful items!
What to Do with Mega Shards

Like its predecessor, Pokemon Legends: Arceus, you can find items randomly while you adventure through Lumiose City. You can them in Poke Balls or by walking on shiny spots.

Running out of Poké Balls and Potions? Head to the Pokemon Center to restock on all your essential items before your next adventure!

You can buy other items like berries, mints, and medicines in stalls around the city. Check them out to find special items that can be otherwise difficult to get!

You can exchange Mega Shards in the Quasartico Inc. headquarters for useful Exp. Candies or powerful Mega Stones. Try to get Mega Shards often so you can power up your Pokemon!

Some Pokemon are able to Mega Evolve abnormally and they are called Rogue Mega Pokemon. Beat them and you can get Mega Stones of that Pokemon!
