You can buy Poke Balls in the Pokemon Center. As you progress the story, different types will be unlocked! Be sure and stock up on before heading out to a Wild Zone!

You can find Poke Balls throughout Lumiose City. Though they may not always have Poke Balls, pick them up whenever you see one, and you might get something useful!

You can buy unique Poke Balls at the Poke Ball Boutique for a slightly higher price. Its shoplist includes specialized Poke Balls like Dive Balls and Heal Balls.

After you beat the game and unlock the Infinite Z-A Royale, you can get special Apriballs (Apricorn Balls) in Reward Battles!
List of Apriballs and How to Get

To use a Poke Ball, press ZL to open a reticle. Then, aim it at the Pokemon so you can can lock on it. Once you are locked in, press ZR to throw the Poke Ball and attempt to catch the Pokemon.

Poke Balls have an increased chance of success when the wild Pokemon has low health. If it has zero health, it will enter a temporary knocked out state where the success of a catch is highly increased.
