This is a list of all trade evolution in Pokemon Legends: Z-A. Read on to learn all Pokemon that evolve through trading, how to trade, and what held items are required to evolve certain Pokemon!

These Pokemon need to be traded in order to evolve. For Pokemon such as Haunter, Machoke, and Kadabra who are second stage evolutions, you can trade them immediately after evolving them from their pre-evolutions.

These Pokemon need to the correct held item to evolve after being traded. This consumes the held item, so be sure to carefully choose which Pokemon you give the item to.

Trading can be done anywhere once players have completed Main Mission 3: A New Life in Lumiose City. To access trading, open Link Play in the menu and select Link Trade.
Players can trade with friends via a Link Code, or online through Nintendo's matchmaking system.
