How to Unlock A Big Weedle Problem
Unlock Main Missions 16, 17, and 18
To unlock A Big Weedle Problem, you will need to progress through the story until you unlock Main Missions 16, 17, and 18. This will unlock a bunch of new Side Missions, including this one!
Complete Story Walkthrough
Only Available During the Daytime
This mission is only available in the daytime. This means that you cannot accept or complete this mission at night.
You may change the time to daytime by resting on a bench.

A Big Weedle Problem is a side mission from Grandt, who can be found on Magenta Sector 3. He is standing by the gate of the garden.
A Big Weedle Problem Walkthrough
Catch the Alpha Weedle
To complete this Side Mission, you will have to catch the Level 45 Alpha Weedle. Defeating it without catching it will just cause it to respawn.
It is ideal to use Fire or Rock-type Pokemon in this battle for the type advantage. Camerupt is a good choice, as it is immune to Electroweb thanks to its Ground type. You may obtain it by evolving Numel, which can be caught in Wild Zone 8.
Keep or Give the Weedle Away
You have the choice to keep the Alpha Weedle or to give it to Grandt.
If you give it away, you cannot take it back. There are no additional rewards for giving the Weedle away. However, it will appear and stay in the overworld.

Alpha Weedle
You may choose to keep the Alpha Weedle. Due to its high level, you have the choice to evolve it to Beedrill immediately.
You may also take this as your first step to getting a Mega Beedrill.
