|---|---|
Mega Excadrill
|
Best Moves: ・ Iron Head (TM 058) ・ Metal Claw ・ Earthquake (TM 069) ・ Protect (TM 017) Mega Excadrill's dual Steel and Ground-type STAB allows it to comfortably take on all of Jacinthe's Pokemon and deal super effective damage with Iron Head and Earthquake. You'll need to watch out for coverage moves like Fire Fang and Mystical Fire, so use Protect to block those attacks and retaliate with your STAB Steel and Ground-type Moves! |
Mega Lucario
|
Best Moves: ・ Iron Tail (TM 087) ・ Bullet Punch ・ Earthquake (TM 069) ・ Protect (TM 017) Mega Lucario can similarly take on all of Jacinthe's Pokemon thanks to its Steel-type STAB and Earthquake for coverage against Mawile. It's less bulky compared to Mega Excadrill so you'll need to be careful when facing Mawile, Gardevoir, and Mega Clefable. Make sure to use Protect when they use Fire-type coverage moves! |
We recommened raising the level of your Pokemon to at least Level 60. Jacinthe's Mega Clefable is Level 59 so it's best to have your Pokemon a few levels higher so they have a better chance withstanding repeated attacks from her Pokemon.
EXP Farming Guide: How to Level Up Fast
Even though it's recommended to use Steel-type Pokemon against Jacinthe as almost every Pokemon of hers are weak to Steel, you should still be careful when against her Mawile, Gardevoir, and Mega Clefable as they can use Fire Fang and Mystical Fire that Steel-types are weak to.
Mega Excadrill can comfortably take on all of Jacinthe's Pokemon thanks to its dual Steel and Ground-type STAB, hitting all of her Pokemon for super effective damage with Iron Head and Earthquake. Similary, Mega Lucario can take on all of her Pokemon thanks to its Steel-type STAB and Earthquake for coverage.
Jacinthe's Mawile, Gardevoir, and Mega Clefable have Fire-type coverage moves, so you still need to be careful when facing them. Make sure to teach Mega Excadrill and Mega Lucario Protect so they can block these moves and retaliate with their powerful STAB moves!

Jacinthe is fought during Story Mission 30: Reaching Rank B. After earning 41,000 Ticket Points to get a Challenger's Ticket, you'll then have to fight through a tournament where you'll face against Canari, Ivor, Corbeau, and Zygarde in its 50% Forme to fight her in a Promotion Match.

Jacinthe is located at the Hotel Richissime at the northeastern part of the city. After obtaining a Challenger's Ticket, head inside and take part in her tournament to challenge her in a Promotion Match.

Defeating Jacinthe in the Promotion Match will get you promoted to Rank B, and she'll also reward you the TM for the move Play Rough.
