How to Unlock The Burning Gaze of Watchog
Unlock Main Mission 24
The Burning Gaze of Watchog can be unlocked once you start Mission 24: Reaching Rank C, right after Corbeau encourages you to get a Challenger's Ticket for his Promotion Match. Other side missions will also unlock alongside this.

You may accept this mission by speaking with Chuckie, the little kid hiding behind a taxi close to where the Alpha Watchog is standing. You may find him just northeast of Wild Zone 7.
The Burning Gaze of Watchog Walkthrough
Defeat or Capture the Alpha Watchog
Interact with the Watchog to initiate a battle against it. The Alpha Watchog is Level 50 and has the moves Iron Tail, Gunk Shot, Take Down, and Nasty Plot.
We recommend using Fighting Type Pokemon such as the Heracross you obtained from A Use for an Evolution Side Mission to take down the Alpha Watchog with STAB super effective Fighting-type Moves!

Chuckie will give you 3 Full Heal, an Assault Vest, and 2,000 Pokemon Dollars upon clearing this quest.
The Assault Vest is a held item that increases the Pokemon's Special Defense but prevents it from using Status Moves.
Unlock A Holovator
Completing this side mission also unlocks the Holovator the Alpha Watchog was blocking. This will grant you access to a new rooftop area with new Pokemon items for you to obtain.
