Obtain 999 Mega Shards

Obtain 999 Mega Shards

The side mission requires you to get 999 Mega Shards as the first step. You can obtain Mega Shards by destroying the purple crystals in Lumiose City and in Hyperspace Wild Zones.

One of the best locations to farm for Mega Shards is the Meganta Sector 9 Rooftop as you can easily net 300+ Mega Shards in around 3 minutes.

Other farming spots that you can try are the ladder behind Hotel Z and the rooftops of Wild Zone 9.

Give the Mega Shards to Jett

Give the Mega Shards to Jett

Once you have 999 Mega Shards, return to Jett in Quasatrico Inc. and give the Mega Shards. Watch the cutscene after to complete the side mission.

Restarting Magearna Rewards

Magearna and Magearnite

Magearna

Completing this side mission gives you a free Level 80 Magearna as a reward. The Pokemon will appear in your Box if there is no free space in your current party.

In addition, you will also receive a Magearnite allowing you to Mega Evolve Magearna into Mega Magearna.
