Visit the Location to Unlock the Travel Spot
Travel Spot locations are unlocked by simply visiting the location, which can also include speaking to the NPC of the location. A location's map pin will have a blue wing icon to indicate it's unlocked as a Travel Spot.
Travel Spots are unlocked simply by visiting their location. Once unlocked, the map pin will display a blue wing icon to indicate it’s available as a Travel Spot.
Use Lumi Cabs to Move to Unvisited Travel Spots
Major Travel Spots, even the ones you have not previously visited, can be accessed using the blue Lumi Cabs found throughout Lumiose City. For a fixed fee, Lumi Cabs allow you to travel to key destinations such as plazas, Pokemon Centers, cafes, and restaurants.
