In Pokemon Legends: Z-A, Key Items play an important part when completing the main missions. Learn about all the Key Items trainers can have which includes the Canari Plushes and the Shiny Charm.

Most of the Key Items players receive are passively obtained by progressing through the main story.

Purchased at Racine Construction
The player's Canari Plush, a Red Canari Plush, is given by Tarragon during Main Mission 5. However, players can exchange their Colorful Screws at Racine Construction for different kinds of plushes with different effects and levels.

Reward from Mable's Research
Players can receive the Shiny Charm after reaching the highest level of Mable's Research, 50.

Objects from the Main Story
Key Items are objects that are typically given to the player during the main story and are needed to progress it.
The Canari Plushes and Shiny Charm are special cases where these key items are only obtainable when players exchange their Colorful Screws at Racine Construction or reach Level 50 for Mable's Research respectively.
