Batlle Zones appear at a random location each night. Once it appears, you can fast travel and battle the Trainers within the zone.
Note that some Battle Zones will not appear until you progress through the main story.
When you clear the main story, the rules of Z-A Royale will change slightly and will now spawn three Battle Zones simultaneously at night.
You can sneak up on a Trainer and attack their Pokemon before they notice you to perform a First Strike.
First Strikes deal more damage than the usual attack and there is chance that you may defeat the Pokemon without engaging in battle.

Bonus Cards may be found in the Battle Zone and include a mission goal to complete to earn additional points and medals. Use this to farm for money and rank points effectively.
You can pick up multiple Bonus Cards but you can only hold three at a time. If you want to pick up a fourth one, you will need to trade it with the 3 other cards that you already have.

Pick up the Bonus Cards in Battle Zones and complete these missions to receive additional Ticket Points and Prize Medals. Some cards are rarer and award much more Ticket Points and Prize Medals.

The Battle Zone is open throughout the night, and you will not lose any points or medals if you leave the zone upon doing so.
If you take too much damage or have earned your Challenger's Ticket, you can leave the Battle Zone before dawn.

You can also find Trainers on the rooftops of the Battle Zone. Look for ladders and climb up to find them.

As you progress the story and rank up, you will encounter high-ranking Trainers in the Battle Zone. Defeating them gives you more experience points for your Pokemon and lets you earn more rank points.

Defeated Trainers in the Battle Zone will reappear after a short period of time. Take advantage of this to earn all the required ticket points to get your Challenger's Ticket.
If a Trainer is taking a long time to respawn, move to a different area and head back.

Pick up the glowing yellow coins in the Battle Zone to earn Prize Medals. These medals will be converted into money when a Battle Zone deactivates during dawn.
Prize Medals can also be obtained by winning Trainer battles and by completing the Bonus Card missions.

A few trainers give different rewards after you defeat them, and the type of rewards that they give depends on the type of trainer that they are.
