Increase Your Rank in the Z-A Royale

Rank Up in Z-A Royale

If you want your Pokemon to keep following your commands in battle, then you must rank up in the Z-A Royale.

Enter Lumiose City's Battle Zones at night and win against other trainers to earn Ticket Points. With enough Ticket Points, you can get Challenger's Tickets, which allow you to enter Promotion Matches. Win these Promotion Matches and rank up!

Causes of Disobedience

Your Pokemon's Level is Higher Than Your Rank

When one of your Pokemon's level is too high compared to your current rank, then they might disobey your orders during battles. Therefore, make sure to keep your Pokemon team's level within the limits of your current rank.

Check Obedience Level From Save Screen

If you want to know up to what level your Pokemon will obey you, then you can go to the Save screen to check the level limit relative to your current rank.

Effects of Disobedience

Has a Chance to Ignore Your Commands

When a Pokemon disobeys your orders, they will ignore your battle commands and avoid moving for a turn. Aside from not attacking the opposing Pokemon, your disobedient Pokemon is left vulnerable as well.
