Since Charcadet, Porygon, Feebas, and Gimmighoul can now be encountered in the game through Hyperspace Wild Zones, their respective evolution items can also be obtained. The Black Augurite item has also made a comeback in this DLC, which allows Scyther to evolve into Kleavor.

Items that are meant to be given to particular Pokemon added in the DLC have also been added into the game. The Drives are meant for Genesect to determine the type of its Techno Drive move.
The Leek item is meant to be given to Farfetch'd, Galarian Farfetch'd, or Sirfetch'd to boost their critical hit chance.

Several new TMs can be obtained from completing side missions. There is also a new TM salesman in the DLC that can be found in an alleyway next to Wild Zone 17. He accepts Mega Shards in exchange for TMs.
Most new Mega Stones can be obtained during the story of the Mega Dimension DLC. However, some can be obtained through random encounters in Hyperspace Lumiose as well as side missions.
