How to Unlock A Message from Across Dimensions
Unlock Hyperspace Lumiose Survey No. 2
Rogue Mega Showdown is a Side Mission that unlocks upon reaching Hyperspace Lumiose Survey No. 2 in the Hyperspace Missions. Speak to Corbeau in the Rust Syndicate Office to continue entering Hyperspace zones!

 Inside an Unknown Hyperspace Zone that appears in Wild Zone 4 |
After unlocking Hyperspace Lumiose Survey No. 2, an Unknown Hyperspace Zone will appear on the map, located inside Wild Zone 4. Enter the rift and look for Cherir inside, who can be found sitting on a bench. Speak with him to start the Side Mission.
A Message from Across Dimensions Walkthrough
- Deliver the Letter to Academie Etoile
- Head to Racine Construction
- Defeat Tarragon in a Pokemon Battle
Deliver the Letter to Academie Etoile
After speaking with Cherir, Fast Travel to Cafe Kizuna in Jaune District, then walk northwest and use the Holovator to reach the rooftop of the building north of Academie Etoile.
From there, head southwest and Roto-Glide between the buildings, then drop down into the academy’s courtyard where the director, Moire, will be waiting. Speak with her and deliver Cherir’s letter.
Head to Racine Construction
After speaking with the director, Fast Travel to Racine Construction and meet with her again to learn more about the letter’s contents. Talk to Tarragon at the front desk, then listen as Moire shares the story of how her late husband commissioned Tarragon to repair his broken ring.
Defeat Tarragon in a Pokemon Battle

Initiate a Pokemon battle with Tarragon and defeat his team of five Ground-type Pokemon. The first four are Level 73, followed by a Level 75 Mega Excadrill as your final opponent. The battle should be fairly easy if your team is already at the maximum level of 100.
Additionally, bringing a well-rounded Water-type Pokemon like Greninja can make quick work of Tarragon’s lineup. The Side Mission concludes after you defeat Tarragon and return Moire’s late husband’s ring to her.
