It is recommended that you use the berries listed on the table above to prepare for the donuts you'll use for berry farming. The recipe provides several advantages that can help farming berries much easier.
The Hyper Payapa Berry in the listed above can be replaced with other berries such as the Hyper Coba Berry or Hyper Charti Berry. If needed, you can also substitute it with either an additional Hyper Tanga Berry or Hyper Kasib Berry.
Minimal Use of Berries
The berries in the list are ideal when crafting donuts, given that the recipe involves minimal use of berries from several types instead of using several berries from a single type.
Donut Recipe Only Uses 7 Berry Slots
The recipe also uses only 7 Berry Slots, enabling you to further add an optional berry that enhances its Sour Flavor to give out item farming bonuses.
It is recommended that you use either Hyper Babiri Berry or Hyper Roseli Berry.
The Recipe Creates a 5-Star Rank Donut
Additionally, the recipe can make a 5-Star Rank donut, enabling you to farm at both 4-star and 5-Star Hyperspace Zones.
This will be important given that the zones that have these ranks will have the berries needed to replenish your supply.
Item Power: Berries and Big Haul Power Are Possible Donut Bonuses
This recipe creates donuts that can possibly have Item Power: Berries and Big Haul Power as bonuses. When preparing for donuts, you need to aim for these specific bonuses to ideally optimize your berry farming.
Make a Backup Save For Rerolling Donuts

| 1 | Create a backup save by first getting healed at a Pokemon Center. This action creates a backup save that you can access later on. |
| 2 | Once you've created a backup save, head to Hotel Z and create a donut of your preference.
If the resulting donut does not have the intended bonuses you want, close the game and boot it up until you've reached the title screen. |
| 3 | Once you're on the title screen, press D-Pad Up, X, and B at the same time to load the backup save you've created earlier. |
The bonuses received when preparing donuts will not be fixed, so it is recommended to use the backup save method listed above to reroll donuts that does not have the specific bonuses needed for berry farming.

Collect Bonus Balls From Completing Tasks
It is recommended that you aim to acquire Bonus Balls when inside Hyperspace Zones, as they contain a lot of Hyper Berries when found in the game.
Bonus Balls are rewards from completing all survey tasks in a Hyperspace Zone, and they must be found for you to claim the rewards contained within it.

Try Soft Resetting When Near a Bonus Ball
Once you're near a Bonus Ball, you can try saving the game first and find out what the Bonus Ball contains when you destroy it.
If it did not have the berries you wanted, close the game and boot it up again so that you can repeat the process until you get the berries you've wanted.
Do note that certain type of Hyper Berries can only be found in specific Hyperspace Zones, with one example being the Hyper Oran Berry located in 1-Star Zones.
Beat the Delivery Guys in Hyperspace Battle Zones
Try finding the delivery trainers whenever you're inside Hyperspace Battle Zones, as they often reward you with Hyper Berries once you've beaten them in battle.
Use Normal Berries for Hyperspace Zones with Low-Level Stars
For Hyperspace Zones with low-level stars, you can try using normal berries in your inventory. This can help you earn Hyper Berries without depleting from your own supply.
Use Hyper Berries That Have High Cal When Preparing Donuts
Hyper Berries that have high Cal will result to donuts that give you an extended amount of time when visiting Hyperspace Zones. This can help give you more time to look for balls and accomplish your tasks to secure a Bonus Ball.
Medium Hyperspace Zones are Recommended For Farming
Medium Hyperspace Zones should provide the ideal layout for Hyper Berry farming, as it gives you ample time to find all floating Poke Balls as well as provide you more chances to complete your tasks and securing a Bonus Ball.
Small Hyperspace Zones contain only a limited amount of floating Poke Balls, while Large Hyperspace Zones provide a challenge in locating Poke Balls and finishing all your survey tasks.
Prepare Donuts That Increases Item Farming
It is recommended that you prepare donuts that provide bonuses which enhances your skill for gathering items.
Check For 4-Star or 5-Star Hyperspace Zones For Quality Hyper Berries
Hyperspace Zones that have either a 4-Star or 5-Star rating will guarantee you the best type of berries when you're destroying floating Poke Balls or Bonus Balls.
For Zones with 3-Star rating or below, you may not able to create top-tier donuts from Hyper Berries harvested from those areas.
Unknown Zones Will Not Yield Hyper Berries
Unknown Zones should be generally avoided when farming for Hyper Berries, given that these areas do not have floating Poke Balls at all for farming.
