This build is made for attacking groups of opponents from afar netting you a lot of points. A well timed Oblivion Wing will ensure that the Life Orb's recoil will not prove to be much of a hindrance thanks to its healing.

Life Orb: How to Get and How to Use

Moves Breakdown

Dark Pulse	Your Dark-type STAB move. Can make the opponents flinch if you're lucky.
Heat Wave	Used to score points from enemies currently battling and arer at low HP. Also useful to combat the dominating Steel-types.
Psychic	Used to target specific enemies due to how difficult this move is to dodge.
Oblivion Wing	Your Flying-type STAB move. Flying isn't really that popular damage-wise, but where it really shines is from the healing you get

This set focuses on Yveltal being your main scorer attacking opponents from afar and healing off the Life Orb damage with Oblivion Wing.

Other Viable Moves

Shadow Ball	An alternative to Dark Pulse, but you don't get STAB and flinch, but can prove useful if you're lucky with the Sp. Def drop.
Hyper Beam	If the enemies are lined up correctly, can be a good move but very situational.

EV Spread and Nature

A full 252 EVs are put into Yveltal's Special Attack and HP to make it hit as hard as possible and take a few hits. The extra 4 EVs are placed into Speed for quicker move cooldowns, but its negligible.

A Modest nature is preferred to help further increase Yveltal's Special Attack stat.
