Focus on trading for the Blue Canari Plush first as it increases your success of catching wild Pokemon.
The increased catch rate is important as wild Pokemon become temporarily uncatchable or may flee after an unsuccessful catch attempt, and failing to capture a rare Pokemon means waiting some time until your next attempt.

The Gold, Pink, and Red Canari Plushes increase the amount of prize money, Mega Fragments, and experience points that you or your Pokemon can obtain, respectively.
While these are all important to beat the game, we recommend that you exchange for the Canari Plushes that you need for your own playthrough.
Getting Mega Stones in the early-to-middle sections of the game requires a lot of money and Mega Fragments, so you can exchange for the Gold and Pink Canari Plushes to help you out.

The Green Canari Plush only helps prevent the player from blacking out when directly hit by an opposing Pokemon's move. If you're not getting consistently hit by attacks, then you can save this Canari Plush for last.
However, if you're struggling with Pokemon battles, then you can consider prioritizing this Canari Plush.

After purchasing all Canari Plushes and their upgrades, speak to the trader in front of Racine Construction once more and hand over the remaining 23 Colorful Screws. He will acknowledge the trade and send over a Giant Canari Plush to your room in Hotel Z. The item is purely cosmetic, serving as proof of your completion!

Afterward, you can now exchange for more Canari Plushes at the Racine Construction Company just southeast of Lumiose City's outer perimeter. To get the Canari Plushes, you must exchange using Colorful Screws.

Colorful Screws can be found all over Lumiose City in purple Poke Balls. They can be identified by the pillars of light that they emit, but they're often found in hard-to-reach locations.

The Canari Plushes' effects will automatically activate just by keeping them in your Inventory and doesn't need to be held or used.
