Pokemon UNITE - Metal Claw

Metal Claw is a Move learned by Empoleon in Pokemon UNITE. Learn the effects of Metal Claw, as well as its damage at each level, cooldown time, level to learn and upgrade, status effects it inflicts, and all Pokemon builds using Metal Claw.

Metal Claw Effect

Has the user charge in the designated direction, dealing damage to opposing Pokemon with wings of steel and shoving them. When this move is boosted by Torrent, the user receives a shield effect. (Torrent gauge consumed: 50)

How to Use Metal Claw

Interrupt Moves or Attacks

Metal Claw shoves the target it hits. The shoving effect can interrupt moves or attacks, which can be extremely useful in certain situations.

Fill Up the Torrent Gauge for the Boosted Effect

If Empoleon has 50 Torrent gauge, Metal Claw's boosted effect will trigger, granting the Pokemon a shield. Make sure to fill up the Torrent gauge first before using Metal Claw to take advantage of the boosted effect and give Empoleon extra protection.

Metal Claw Patch History

1.20.3.10 Damage decreased by 10%. Shield amount decreased by 25%.
