Has the user fire a psychic wave in a forward direction, then charge toward opposing Pokemon it hits, dealing damage and throwing them.

How to Use Zen Headbutt

Aim Properly

Proper aiming is the most important skill to hone when using Zen Headbutt since the move needs to hit a target for it to actually do anything. That said, finding the best angle to use the move increases the chances of Zen Headbutt hitting a target.

Utilize the Damage Reduction Effect

Once upgraded, Zen Headbutt reduces the damage taken by Metagross if the move hits a target. This mechanic is useful when diving enemies in the frontlines.

Zen Headbutt Patch History

1.14.1.6 Damage increased by 13%.
1.13.1.4 Cooldown decreased from 6s to 5s (-1s).
