Has the user unleash a ground-splitting slash in the designated direction, dealing damage to opposing Pokémon it hits. The lower the opposing Pokémon’s percentage of remaining HP, the more damage the move deals. If this Unite Move knocks out an opposing Pokémon, the boost count increases.
After using Coup De Grace, the Pokemon gains the following buff(s) for a few seconds:
Aegislash | Shield granted. Movement Speed increased and reduced move cooldowns for a short time. |
---|
If the enemy Pokemon health is low, Coup De Grace will execute them rather than do damage! Making sure to use Coup De Grace when the enemy Pokemon are low is key to utilizing this Unite Move properly.
Coup De Grace does little to no damage if your targets have full HP. As a rule of thumb, only use Coup De Grace against targets that have 50% HP or below to make the most out of the move.
Apart from securing takedowns against the oppossing Pokemon, Coup De Grace is also a great way to secure or steal boss Pokemon like Zapdos.
1.7.1.11 | Maximum damage dealt on Wild Pokemon decreased. |

1.4.1.4 | Fixed an issue regarding Coup de Grace causing players' screens to darken. |
