Tips for Winning Halloween in Mer Stadium

Watch out for Pumpkin Toss!

In the Halloween event, you forfeit your battle item in exchange for a Pumpkin Toss.

With pumpkin toss, you can either stun Wild Pokemon and do a little bit of damage or transform your enemy Pokemon into a pumpkin! It only has a 3-second cooldown so use it wisely.

Be careful though, as your enemy also has access to this battle item and can turn you into a pumpkin as well.

Battling as a Pumpkin Pokemon

When you turn into a pumpkin, you immediately drop a large amount of balls that you are carrying. Don't worry though, once you transform back to normal you can pick it back up.

Life as a pumpkin isn't so bad as you can still help your teammates out! Once you transform into a pumpkin, you lose access to all of your abilities but gain a new one called Pumpkin Tackle. With Pumpkin Tackle, you can push away enemies from either your teammates or your goal zone!

The distance that Pumpkin Tackle does is no joke either!

Battling Against Pumpkin Pokemon

Once you turn an enemy Pokemon into a pumpkin, your battle item then transforms into Pumpkin Push! You summon ethereal hands and push the enemy pumpkin away.

Invulnerable After Being Pumpkin-ed

As soon as you turn back into your regular Pokemon after being turned into a pumpkin, players will have an Invulnerable to Pumpkin Toss status appearing above their Pokemon's head.

Use this short window to deal as much damage as possible without the fear of being turned into a pumpkin!

Zapdos is the Only Boss Pokemon

In the Halloween Event Game Mode, Zapdos is the only Boss Pokemon that spawns in Mer Stadium. But the difference is, it spawns when there is only 1 minute left in the timer rather than the standard 2 minutes final stretch.

Aesthetics Differences Only

Halloween Mer Stadium	Regular Mer Stadium

There are no major differences in the Halloween Event Mer Stadium Map versus the regular Mer Stadium Map. The only main differences of the two is mainly for aesthetic purposes. The Halloween Mer Stadium Map has a darker and gloomier atmosphere.

Halloween-Themed Goal Zone

Goal Zones now have pumpkins on them.

Halloween-Themed Barriers

The barriers have a bat pattern and the rocky outcrops have pumpkins with witch hats on them!
