Extreme Speed Effect

Extreme Speed In-Game.jpg

Has the user charge forward with breathtaking speed. If the user performs a basic attack immediately after using this move, that attack's damage is increased. After the user learns this move, an Extreme Speed mark will be automatically applied to any nearby unmarked opposing Pokemon. This mark cannot stack, and there is a delay before the mark can be automatically applied again to the same Pokemon. If Extreme Speed hits a marked opposing Pokemon, its cooldown is reset and the user recovers HP.

How to Use Extreme Speed

Combo Off with Bone Rush

Pokemon UNITE - Lucario Bursting Greninja with Bone Rush Extreme Speed Combo
Extreme Speed is almost exactly the same as Quick Attack, but it allows you to reset its own cooldown when you attack a target hit by this Move. Comboing this up with Bone Rush's stun maximizes the chance of Extreme Speed resetting its own cooldown plus the bonus of Bone Rush's reset to all cooldowns when you teleport.

Get out of Dangerous Situations

Pokemon UNITE - Lucario Escaping with Defensive Extreme Speed
Extreme Speed's reach is long enough to get Lucario out of harm's way. Just make sure to aim the move away from the opponent your retreating from.
