Zone Out Enemies

Pokemon UNITE - Snorlax Using Block on Machamp

Block is a great zoning move. Use it to drive off the enemy team, creating space between your team and the enemy team. This is most effective when securing and taking objectives like Zapdos.

Control Enemy Movement

Pokemon UNITE - Snorlax Using Block on Blastoise

Utilize Block's knock back effect to control enemy movement, especially during teamfights. The more enemies you can control, the better your team's position will be in fights.

Tank for Your Team

Pokemon UNITE - Snoralx Using Block on Talonflame

Utilize Block's shield effect to tank damage for your team. Try to stay between your team and the enemy team, preventing them from attacking your backlines. This becomes more relevant when you have a powerful but fragile ally that needs to be at a safe distance to deal damage.

Since your movement speed is reduced during Block, remember that you can always cancel it to revert to your normal movement speed.

Hi! Thank you for your comment. Disables can stop unite moves from completing, even mid-cast, and resets the gauge. We do not know which moves can actually do this. There are a lot of moves that have weird interactions with each other.
