Magical Leaf is a Move learned by Comfey in Pokemon UNITE. Learn the effects of Magical Leaf, as well as its damage at each level, cooldown time, level to learn and upgrade, status effects it inflicts, and all Pokemon builds using Magical Leaf.

Magical Leaf Effect

Has the user launch three curious, scattering leaves each second for a set amount of time. The leaves target opposing Pokemon in the area of effect and deal damage when they hit. These leaves can deal damage to opposing Pokemon hiding in tall grass. If the same opposing Pokemon is damaged six times by these leaves, that Pokemon will be left unable to act. If this move is used when the user is attached to an ally Pokemon, its area of effect is increased.

How to Use Magical Leaf

Note:
Comfey will be unable to attack while Magical Leaf is active. However, if Comfey uses Flowery Fields Forever or attaches itself to an ally using Floral Healing or Sweet Kiss, Magical Leaf will stop instantly.

Scout for Pokemon Hiding in Grass

Use Magical Leaf near grass areas to scout for enemies that might be hiding. The leaves can attack enemies even while hidden inside grass.

Use on Isolated Targets

Although Magical Leaf can be useful when there are multiple targets within its area, it becomes more effective if there is only one target since the move targets enemies randomly.

Having only one target within the move's AoE means that the target will receive the maximum damage possible. It can also stun the target twice during the move's duration or three times once the move is upgraded.

Use While Attached for a Wider AoE

Using Magical Leaf while Comfey is attached to an ally increases the move's area of effect. This can be useful during fights where enemies are scattered.

Help Farm Wild Pokemon

Though it's not recommend taking farms from a DPS ally, it could be used to help them farm wild Pokemon. It can also be used even if Comfey isn't attached to an ally.

It deals enough damage to take out wild Pokemon faster than using Standard Attacks.

Magical Leaf Patch History

1.9.2.8 Damage decreased by 25%. Stun duration reduced from 0.75s to 05s.
1.8.1.7 Stun duration increased from 0.5s to 0.75s. Magical Leaf now prioritizes hitting Pokemon from the opposing team.
