Coaching Effect

Coaching In-Game.jpg

Has the user move toward an ally Pokemon, grant that Pokemon a shield, and increase that Pokemon's basic attack speed. If this move is used on an ally Pokemon that has not been coached, its cooldown immediately resets. If this move is used on a recently coached ally Pokemon again within a set amount of time, it goes on cooldown. The cooldown of Electro Ball, Solar Beam, or Surf is reduced each time this move is used.

How to Use Coaching

Utilize the Cooldown Reset

Use Coaching on allies that have not been coached to reset its cooldown immediately. Doing so allows you to shield and buff multiple allies.

Take Advantage of the Cooldown Reduction

Apart from targeting multiple allies, it also reduces your other move's cooldown each time you use it.

Target Key Allies

Use Coaching on key allies like damage delears or assassins. The shield and attack speed increase can boost their overall effectiveness during teamfights. You can also use it to save key allies from getting knocked out.
