Mew's Mural Challenge is an event in Pokemon UNITE for the Nintendo Switch and Mobile! Completing the mural allows players to get Mew's Unite License for free! Learn the start and end dates of this event, the rewards, tips on how to complete this event, and how to get Mew for free!

Mew's Mural Challenge List of Rewards
Get Mew by Unlocking Fragments
Use Mural Energy to 'slot in' fragments you obtain from Mural Missions. You can only slot in Fragments that are at 100%! Once all mural energies are placed, you will be able to get Mew for free!

Log-in to Get Mural Energy
The only free way to get Mural Energy is through logging in to the game. You only need a total of 6 Mural Energy to complete the event, so a total of 6 days.
Purchase One Mural Energy with 10 Aeos Gems
If you want to obtain Mew quickly, you can get Mural Energy by purchasing 1 Energy with 10 Aeos Gems. Just press X when using the Switch, or tap the Mural Energy icon on Mobile to purchase Mural Energy with Gems!
You will need a total of 60 Aeos Gems to complete the event.
How to Get Mural Fragments
Complete Mural Missions
Completing Mural Missions lets you unlock different Mural Fragments. After raising each fragment to 100%, use Mural Energy to obtain the fragment, and eventually get Mew's Unite License.

Anonymous about 3 yearsDisregard. It seems the orbs are not for completing mural percentage, but to "activate" them upon the missions completion. Bizarre.

That appears to be the case. The wording and setup is so confusing. There's no point in purchasing the Energy if you don't have friends to play with (for one of the quests) since you have to wait for the daily logins. Tencent should have specified better on that.
