Whether you go for Hyper Voice or Mystical Fire, always cast Calm Mind first before using them. This gives you protection and maximizes your moves' damage.
Utilize Calm Mind's movement speed increase to chase enemies or escape from them. When you get close enough, follow up with your other moves or standard attacks.
An upgraded Calm Mind nullifies a move's damage and grants a shield afterwards. Try to bait out moves from enemies, then, with proper timing, activate Calm Mind to nullify the damage and get the shield. This is effective against Sure-Hit moves with high damage.

Hi! Please disregard the previous reply. We've updated the page to show the Sp.Def and Sp.Atk increase. However, we still cannot accurately measure the movement speed increase of the move.
