After the user learns this move, it gains Eon power whenever it defeats wild Pokémon. This move has the user dash in the designated direction and makes its next basic attack a boosted attack. If the user hits an opposing Pokémon with a boosted basic attack, the user gains Eon power. This boosted attack also releases telekinetic projectiles, which deal damage. The more Eon power the user has accumulated, the more projectiles are released and the more damage they deal.
Whenever you hit an opponent with Dragon Pulse or defeat wild Pokemon, Latios accumulates Eon power. The more Eon power Latios has accumulated, the more projectiles Dragon Pulse releases and the more damage they deal.
With this in mind, it's extremely important to accumulate as much Eon power as possible throughout the match to maximize the move's damage.
Since Latios dashes when it uses Dragon Pulse, you can use the move to just move around faster. Remember that Latios can move through walls if you use the move near them, which is great for escaping or chasing opponents.
| 1.20.1.2 | Empowered basic attack damage decreased by 15%. Psychic projectile damage decreased by approx. 15%. |
|---|---|
| 1.19.2.11 | Telekinetic projectile damage decreased by 15%. |
