Team Ascended showed their dominance and takes the crown as North America's February Finals 2023 Champions!
Hoopa has returned to the North American competitive scene after a long absence as a result of the new map. The Pokemon's return is most likely due to its most recent buff in the 1.8.1.6 Update. Teams have begun experimenting the Pokemon's impact in the new map and possible team compositions that could go well with the Pokemon.
Only time will tell whether Hoopa would make comeback to the competitive scene as a meta pick.
North American teams seem to favor Attackers as core picks in their team comps. They are played in any lane but are mainly act as the team's damage dealers. Although fragile, they do contribute a lot in terms of damage, which teams utilize to win teamfights.

Regardless of team composition, teams played normally throughout the tournament. There were no strategies that were outside of taking objectives, winning teamfights, pushing lanes, and preparing for the late game.
