List of Contents
Tali Believers showed their persistence in six grueling games and took the crown as Europe's February Finals Champions!
However, Nouns Esports did not go down without a fight, forcing a Grand Finals Reset against Tali Believers.
Snorlax was a common pick in the European region, garnering a 50% pick rate throughout the tournament. This makes Snorlax the second Defender that became the most picked Pokemon in a tournament just after Slowbro. The Pokemon is one of the best Defender in the game due to its durability and arsenal of crowd control moves, so it isn't a surprise that the Pokemon would be a top pick.
Snorlax Guide: Builds and Best Items
Attackers and All-Rounders have been core picks in the European region. Some teams favor Attackers more, and some prefer All-Rounders. Nonetheless, teams usually play either roles as the team's primary damage dealers.
One strategy that stood out is having three (3) Defenders in a team's lineup, namely Greedent, Snorlax, and Blastoise. This was done in two games by Nouns Esports. The strategy was definitely surprising since having that many Defenders in a lineup is usually detrimental due to the team's lack of damage. But, surprisingly, Nouns Esports managed to win both games with that lineup.
List of Defenders: All Defender Pokemon and Best Builds
Aside from off-meta team compositions, teams played normally throughout the tournament. There were no unique strategies outside of taking objectives, pushing lanes, and winning teamfights.
