2023 Asia Champions League continues with Day 4 of battles! Read on to see the most used Pokemon, best win rate, Pokemon ban rate, most used battle and held items, lanes for each Pokemon, where to watch the stream, as well as highlights that defined this tournament!
All data is based only on the recent VOD stream released by the Official Pokemon Asia ENG YouTube channel. The analysis also collectively covers the 3rd day of tournament for East Asia, Southeast Asia, and India Leagues. |
List of Contents
As of Day 4, Hi5 remains as the top team in the East Asia region. They're followed by T2 and No Show, coming in at second and third place, respectively. Eternity takes the fourth spot in the region while Secret Ship placed last.
As of Day 4, Renaissance and Team MYS are tied at the top spot for the Southeast Asia region. Rise sits comfortably at third place. Meanwhile, Escape V and Secret Rare takes the fourth and last place, respectively.
As of Day 4, Marcos Gaming becomes the top team in the India region. They're followed True Rippers and Team S8UL, taking the second and third spots, respectively. Revenant Esports sits at fourth place while God's Reign placed last.
Hoopa has returned to the competitive scene after a long absence due to the new map. The Pokemon's return was most likely the result of its recent buff in the 1.8.1.6 Update. Teams were ready to experiment with the Pokemon to see if it will be as effective as it was prior to the map change.
However, the Pokemon was only picked twice in Day 4 across all regions, so it did not have much play time. Nevertheless, only time will tell if Hoopa will make a comeback to the competitive scene.
Hoopa Guide: Builds and Best Items
All-Rounders continue to be the key picks for teams. They generally play as the primary damage dealers of the team, or at least the one that sets the tempo of the game. They're also either the most picked Pokemon or the most banned throughout the tournament, showing just how much teams value them.
Apart from minor off-meta tactics, teams played normally in Day 4. They put emphasis on taking objectives, winning teamfights, pushing lanes, and preparing for the end game.
