Stunfisk Best Nature and Moveset for Story

Bold or Calm

Nature Stat Changes
Bold Defense, Attack
Calm SpDef, Attack

Due to Stunfisk having very high Defensive stats, its best natures are either Bold or Calm to boost its Defense or Special Defense further.

Stunfisk also has a better Special Attack stat compared to its Attack, so choosing one of the above natures allows Stunfisk to still deal some damage with its Special Moves.

Alternative Natures

Nature Stat Changes
Relaxed Defense, Speed
Sassy SpDef, Speed

You can also give Stunfisk either Relaxed or Sassy nature, allowing you to increase your Defense or Special Defense at the cost of reduced Speed.

Keep in mind that giving Stunfisk any of the above two natures will increase the cooldown of moves, putting you at a disadvantage against faster Pokemon.

Use Mints to Change Natures

Mint Usage

If your Stunfisk has a different Nature than the ones we recommend above, you can use a Mint to change its Nature.
Mints Locations and How to Change Nature

Best Stunfisk Moveset for the Story

Protect Pokemon Normal Type Icon 15
Stealth Rock Pokemon Rock Type Icon 10
Discharge Pokemon Electric Type Icon 8

We recommend the moves Stealth Rock, Earthquake, Discharge, and Protect when using Stunfisk during the main story.
