All Moves by Damage Dealt |
Has the user move a short distance in the designated direction, and its next basic attack launches all of its stored ice crystals at an opposing Pokemon, dealing damage to it. The user then regains the same number of ice crystals that it launched. If the user hits the same opposing Pokemon with 4 or more ice crystals, that Pokemon's movement speed is decreased for a short time. The more ice crystals that hit that Pokemon, the stronger the movement speed-decrease effect. If the user has no ice crystals when this move is used, the gains 2 ice crystals.
Since Icy Wind replenishes all the Ice Crystals you used, try to keep your Ice Crystals up by hitting targets with Boosted Attacks and Freeze-Dry, and attacking while Ice Shard is active. This allows you to maintain the maximum number of Ice Crystals long enough to use the move repeatedly.
Using Ice Shard after casting Icy Wind but before launching all its projectiles increases your Ice Crystals by 2. This is useful if you've already used Icy Wind but have less than 8 Ice Crystals.
Alternatively, you can maintain your ice crystals by attacking while Ice Shard is active, prolonging the Icy Wind's timer.
Ice Shard: Glaceon Move Effect and Cooldown
Since the target's movement speed is reduced if at least 4 Ice Crystals hits, it's best to always have at least 4 Ice Crystals before launching the projectiles.
You can use Icy Wind to dash through walls or dodge moves.
