How to Get Rank Protection Card

Currently, the only way to obtain a Rank Protection Card is by progressing through the Battle Pass. Players can recieve one (1) free Rank Protection Card when they reach level 4. They can recieve more but only if they purchase the Premium Battle Pass.

Rank Protection Card Selection Box is a new obtainable item introduced in Battle Pass S24. Once obtained, players can choose to get either a rank protection card for the current rank season or the next one.

How to Use Rank Protection Card

Players only need to obtain the Rank Protection Card for it to work. It will automatically be used when a player loses a ranked match.

Will Not Work If Idling is Detected

A Rank Protection Card will not be consumed if the player is dected to be idling during the match. This is probably to prevent players from abusing the item.

What Happens When You Go AFK

One Card, One Lose

Losing a game consumes one Rank Protection Card. Whether players lost the game or surrendered, if they have a Rank Protection Card, it will be consumed after the match and will no longer appear in their Item Box. The rule of thumb is one card, one lose.

Rank Protection Card is an item that prevents a player's ⟡ (diamond) from decreasing when they lose a ranked match.

Only Valid for the Current Season

The Rank Protection Card is only valid for the current season. Once the season end, it will be converted into Aeos Tickets.
