Guys the rapid spin build should be changed to Focus band, Sp. attack specs, Curse incense. Blastoise already does more than enough dmg at lv.14 especially when you're the jungler in your team. Plus Blastoise's passive will further increase that dmg, the lower your hp is. What we need is something to counter the enemy's healing. Because the enemy can just outheal the dmg we deal since it's a dps combo. So instead implement the curse incense!
Guys listen to this. Max sp.atk blastoise with sp.atk specs, wise glasses, drive lens, 6 white and green emblems and his passive torrent increase his base sp atk stat 412 to 859! 412+112+29+29+23%+20%= 859
Note: this is the second part of my rapid spin waterspout combo solution And you can tell the game what moveset it will automatically choose which is the movesets 1, 2 and a custom moveset. This way even if you don't press the waterspout before the game accidentally gives you hydropump because you have your moveset assign to moveset 1 Moveset 1 - Surf and Hydropump Moveset 2 - Rapid spin and water spout
Ok so i just realized an insanely huge solution to a problem that most rapid spin waterspout combo users have and it's lv. 5 Why? Because at lv. 5 you get waterspout which is trash and does VERY LOW DPS so a simple way to overcome it is to just not pick it.How? well basically when you reach a level where you unlock a new move you can just not pick and let the move get selected by the game. That way you can still have your water gun and perform better in games.
Note: this js the fourth part of the post Now i know that this high burst dmg is very situational since you won't have your ult till lv. 9 and still then if you use it, you'd have to wait before it's available to use again but these problems can be minimized by microfarming and microscoring which would boost you unite charge by alot and energy amp also increases your unite charge rate. So basically this build does require a high skill floor, time management, and decision making to achieve
Note: this is the third part of the post im making And can get enemy defenders, supporters, and all rounders low enough to be cleaned by your teammates. And you know what's even better? we were only using energy amp which means we have 1 or 2 more held item slots for more sp.atk!
Note: this is a connection to the other post because i can't fit all of the words Now after calculating, the dmg you deal with your unite, your first hydropump and your second hydropump inside rapid spin deals 3044.34 dmg AT LV. 9! And at lv. 11 you deal 3600.31! This also ignores the fact that you can literally spam your auto attacks while in rapid spin and would get their dmg increase by 21% as well! so this is a great innitiator to just insta-kill attackers, speedsters
Rapid spin and hydro pump is pretty underrated. Here's why! With energy amp you can deal so much burst dmg in a few seconds! Basically energy amp increases your dmg by 21% not your sp.atk stat, it also INCREASES THE DMG DEALT BY A MOVE not the entire combo which means that burst builds work well here and is the reason why we're using hydropump than waterspout because waterspout only does a few dmg which means that 21% increase in dmg won't mean much, although it is viable
I just experimented and found out that you can swap slick spoon for wise glasses becausw it increases 7% of yoir damage. Now the energy amplifier works differently, instead of using blastoise's base dmg without the glasses it uses blastoise's base dmg with the glasses so if you do your calculations, the energy amplifier will use a higher base dmg. And by uaing its percentage you get a higher 21% dmg boost. I alao did the experiment and the unite + hydro pump does 3,848 dmg, your welcome
water spout is good because it can be active while using spin. I like to hit them with spout to slow them down and do some damage and then hit the spin at the same time and with spout you can hold down the spout move while spinning to shoot water which does pretty good constant damage and increases movement speed so you can chase people down

I use Hydro Pump/Rapid Spin, i have 72.68% win rate with it. I tried Water Spout/Rapid Spin and i think Water Spout by itself is useless. What am i doing wrong?

The best build is actually rapid spin and waterspout. I know water spout might be useless but if u activate waterspout and use rapid spin hold water spout and u will deal constant damage.Free KO

Surf/Hydropump is annoying as heck for the other team. Trying to combo without full heal? Get surfed, Zoroark. It's unite is stun as well. If you unite, surf and hydropump, the target will either be KO'd or on low enough hp so your attacker can KO.
what kind of idiot would choose Waterspout/Surf? It's the worst moveset in the entire game. There's no synergy. Waterspout works with rapid spin, surf works with hydropump, but Waterspout DEFINITELY does not work well with Surf. There's your answer.
