How to Get the Shock Drive
Purchase During Side Mission 191
The Shock Drive, as well as the other Drives for Genesect, can be purchased from the TM Salesman in the alley next to Wild Zone 17 for 540 Mega Shards.
This item only becomes available once his side quest Collecting Four Drives is unlocked after completing all Hyperspace Missions. This side quest also allows you to catch Genesect.

How to Use the Shock Drive
Give to Genesect for Electric-Type Techno Blast

The Shock Drive can be given to Genesect to hold in order to change the typing of its Techno Blast move into Electric. If Genesect is not holding a Drive, Techno Blast is a Normal-type move.
